Ingredients
500 g lady finger/ Okra family
Small bunch pumpkin leaves
2 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 small fresh chilli
1 teaspoon gohwa (or bicarbonate of Soda)
2 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup water
1 teaspoon paprika
Cooking Instructions
- Wash, drain and cut lady fingers, wash, drain and shred pumpkin leaves and add to lady fingers
- Boil the water in a sauce pan.
- Add gohwa/bicarbonate of soda, salt, lady finger, pumpkin leaves and the tomatoes.
- Bring to boil for 20 minutes and whisk continuously to break the lady finger.
- Chop and add the paprika. Continue boiling for 5 minutes.
- Do not close the pot as it will over-boil.
- Serve hot with sadza.
