Pearl Millet Thick Porridge

Ingredients

300 grammes pearl millet

1.5 litre water

Cooking Instructions

  1. Warm water on fire/stove in a medium saucepan.
  2. Add 100g of pearl millet while stirring with a wooden spoon till thick porridge consistency is formed.
  3. Leave the mixture to splutter till glossy for 20 minutes.
  4. Add the remaining pearl millet bit by bit using a whisk (musika) or wooden cooking stick till finished.
  5. Lower the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  6. Stir again using a wooden cooking stick before serving.
